About Sally

 

Sally Silberman received New York University’s (NYU) Teaching Excellence Award as an Assistant Professor. She has brought her experience and passion for learning to groups across the U.S. as a frequent lecturer and trainer. She has designed, developed, and delivered courses in coaching, business management, project management, and online learning.  Sally has been an instructor for Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) where she designed, developed and delivered NOVA’s Coaching and Management Practices certificate programs.  In addition to her work at NYU and NOVA, Sally also formerly served as the Director of Training for the government-wide Federal Internal Coach Training Program certification course (an ICF ACSTH approved program).

Sally is a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute and Corporate Coach University.  She also holds the designation of an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Board Certified Coach (BCC) and Certified Professional Coach (CPC).  Sally operates a private workplace coaching, training and consulting practice specializing in workplace, sales, and e-learning issues. She is also a professional coach trainer and qualified mentor coach. 

Sally works for the Federal government as a senior administrative specialist.  In addition, she formerly held the role of Program Director for Online Instructional Services for the original NYUonline department.

Sally was also formerly Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the E-Commerce Division of U. S. Office Products, a leading supplier of office products and business services, and Director of International Sales at Kimball International, a Fortune 1000 manufacturer specializing in consumer durable goods.

She brings almost thirty years of management experience in sales and administration. She is a former member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Sales and Marketing Management Magazine and Competitive Advantage. She has published articles in HR Briefing, Employee Relations Bulletin, Career Confidential, Strategic Sales Management and Professional Selling and was a Contributing Editor for Sales and Marketing Management Magazine.

Sally is certified to administer the DISC, MBTI and EQ-i 2.0 assessments.  She received her Bachelor of Science from Indiana University.
