The International Coach Federation (ICF) requires that all Associate Certified Coach (ACC) ACSTH, Portfolio Path or ACC certification renewal applicants be coached for a minimum of (10) hours over a minimum of (3) months by a qualified Mentor Coach.  

For the purposes of credentialing or renewal the mentor coaching process must focus on the applicant's coaching skills and not on practice building, life balance, or other topics unrelated to the development of an applicant's coaching skill.  (Please note that an applicant may have more than one qualified Mentor Coach to complete this process.)

***NEW OPTION!  Or, if you are interested in learning new coaching techniques to advance your skill set based on a deeper understanding of each of the ICF core competencies, the option of attending only the live group teleclasses is also available.  (Please note that if you can attend a minimum of (4) of the live sessions, these (7) hours of work can be applied to the ICF ACC mentor coaching requirement.  1:1 mentor coaching sessions can be completed in the future with a mentor coach of your choice.)  All live group sessions are recorded and available for review regardless of how many live sessions you are able or want to attend!  (Fee for this option - $494)

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This full program is required for those who wish to fulfill the 10-hour mentor coaching requirement for ICF ACC ACSTH, Portfolio Path or renewal certification.  Under the guidance and instruction of a qualified Mentor Coach, participants will revisit all of the (8) updated ICF Core Competencies for deeper learning in preparation for the Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA), participate in group setting coaching role plays and receive feedback from both the Mentor Coach and observers, work one-on-one with the Mentor Coach to refine the applicant's individual coaching skills in preparation for the Performance Evaluation (if needed) and review all of the ICF ACC ACSTH, Portfolio Path or renewal certification application requirements, and receive templates and resources to support the application process.  

PROGRAM LEARNING GOALS

If you successfully complete this program, you should be able to:

• Understand each of the (8) updated ICF Core Competencies 
• Understand what the ICF assessors are listening for when evaluating a recorded session
• Demonstrate an effective coaching conversation
• Understand each of the ICF ACC ACSTH, Portfolio Path or renewal certification process requirements

How is the ICF ACC Mentor Coaching Program structured?

The full program consists of (5) 1-hour, 45-minute group teleseminars and (3) one-on-one private mentor coaching sessions.  The private one-on-one private mentor coaching sessions will be scheduled after the group teleseminar portion of the program is completed no sooner than 3 months from the program start date.  A Bonus Session will be scheduled during the program to review all of the ICF ACC ACSTH, Portfolio Path and renewal certification processes (for mentees registered for the full program only).

Where will the ICF ACC Mentor Coaching Program be held?

All sessions for this program will be conducted via teleseminar.  A week prior to the start of the program, the teleconference dial-in instructions will be sent to all registrants.  All teleseminars will be recorded and the MP3 files will be made available within 48 hours of each session.

When will the ICF ACC Mentor Coaching Program be held?

The (5) group teleseminar sessions will be held on Mondays, October 25 - November 29, 2021 (no class on November 22nd).  Participants must attend a minimum of (4) of  the live sessions in order to complete the program. The 1:1 mentor coaching sessions will be held about every two weeks after the group sessions are completed and must be completed no sooner than 3 months from the program start date.  The Bonus Session teleseminar will be scheduled after the group teleseminar sessions are completed. 

How much does the ICF ACC Mentor Coaching Program cost?

While the standard fee for this type of program typically runs from $1,100 - $1,800, the investment for the full program is $1,000. This rate is inclusive of all group training, one-on-one mentor coaching sessions, the Bonus Session and all templates, resources and program materials.  A DropBox will be created and made available to all participants that will be the repository for all program materials and recordings.
